Awali Foodstuff W.L.L. is big importer of Spices in Bahrain. Awali Foodstuff W.L.L. imports different type of Spices in 20kg packing both whole and spices powders. Awali Foodstuff imports only Best Quality spices with good color and smell.

All the spices should be free from any type of artificial colors, like sodan one. The health department in Bahrain does not allow importing spices which are colored or dyed with any artificial color.

Awali Foodstuff

Awali foodstuff is a big importer of foodstuff in kingdom of Bahrain. Awali Foodstuff has been importing foodstuff since 1970. Awali Foodstuff imports foodstuff from all over the globe and distributes the products to local whole sellers and semi whole sellers. Awali foodstuff imports rice from Pakistan, Thailand, India and other countries. The main rice commodities which Awali imports are Pakistani Rice 1121 Parboiled Rice and white rice, Pakistani Super Kernel Basmati White and Parboiled Rice, Pakistani Irri-6 white and Parboiled Rice, Pakistani Irri-9 White and Parboiled Rice, Indian 1121 Long Grain Parboiled and White Steam Rice, Thai Parboiled Rice.

Awali Foodstuff imports different types of Pulses as well. The main origin of pulses are Australia, Canada, Turkey, Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, India, China, Egypt, Oman and some other countries. Awali imports Red Split Lentils, Yellow Split Peas, Green Mung Beans, Yellow Mung Dall, Urid Dall, Chick Peas, Barley, White Sorghums and other pulses in different packings.

Importer of Rice

Awali Foodstuff is a big importer of Rice. Awali foodstuff imports different commodities of rice from many countries. The main origins are Pakistan, Thailand and India. Awali has been importing rice for decades and is counted in the oldest importers of rice in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Awali foodstuff believes on the quality. That is why Awali deals only with those suppliers of rice who can provide the quality of rice as per their commitment.

The main commodities of rice which Awali Foodstuff imports are as mentioned hereunder:

• Pakistani Super Kernel Basmati White Rice Pure Punjab Quality 7.5 AGL

Awali Foodstuff imports Super Kernel Basmati White Rice in different brands and all the brands are well known in the market of Kingdom of Bahrain. This is because Awali decides to select the quality of Rice very carefully and only imports the best quality. This decision is made after cooking the samples several times to ensure to supply the best quality to its valuable customers. I would like to mention some hints that how and which type of rice is liked by Awali Foodstuff. The rice should be very good in cooking, Nil broken, grains should be straight after cooking and all the grains should be in equal length. The Super Kernel Basmati White 7.5 AGL Rice should not be mixed with any other commodity or short grains. Awali love the suppliers who can maintain the quality of rice. If you can supply the rice to Awali as per sample approved by Awali, Awali will say you most welcome.

• Pakistani Super Golden Parboiled Rice Pure Punjab Quality 7.5 AGL

The brand of Awali for Pakistani Super Golden Parboiled Rice not only is well known and well demanded in Kingdom of Bahrain but also is a favorite famous brand in other nearby countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar. I have mentioned many things above that how awali chose the rice and the above method is not only for Super Kernel Rice, other brands are also decided to bring with the same care and interest. We import cooking oil from different countries. We import Pure Sunflower Oil, Palm Oil, and Blended Oil. Our interested packing and other specifications are as under:




Palm Olein (Vegetable Oil):

We import vegetable oil in 1x18Ltr Tin Packing and 6x1.8Ltr PET Bottle Packing.



Sunflower Oil:

We import Sunflower Oil in 6x1.8Ltr PET Bottle Packing



Sunflower Blended Oil:

We import Sunflower Blend Oil in 6x1.8Ltr and 6x2Ltr PET Bottle Packing as under:



50% Sunflower with 50% Soya bean Oil

50% Sunflower with 50% Vegetable Oil



We are also interested to import Corn Oil in near future.

Importer of Canned Foods

We imports canned foods from China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey and other countries and distribute in local market to whole sellers and kitchens. We believe on quality and import only quality products. We import different items in canned foods as little detail mentioned hereunder with packing type and size.

Tomato Paste:

We import only best quality tomato paste with concentration 28-39%

• Tomato Past  28-30% 100gm Tetra Packing
• Tomato Past  28-30% 800gm Tin Packing
• Tomato Past  28-30% 4.5kg Tin Packing

Pineapple:

We import pineapple slices in syrup seasonally in 400gm or any packing which is common in the market of kingdom of Bahrain.

Mixed Fruits:

We import mix fruit pieces in syrup 400gm packing.

Mushrooms:

We import mushroom slices and whole in the packing as under:

•  Mushroom Slices 1kg Tin Packing
• Mushroom Slices 3.5kg
• Mushroom Whole 1kg Tin Packing
• Mushroom Whole 3.5kg Packcing

Green Peas:

We import Fresh Canned Green Peas 400-500gm Packing.

We import in our own private brands for all the above products  and some time we accept to bring in supplier’s brand if it is attractive.  The shelf life for the above products is two years and all the details should be printed in both languages Arabic and English.

We require samples and after confirmation we compare the samples with shipment.

Payment Terms: LC at Sight, CAD Through Bank or Credit LC.
